Miquel Alzueta Receives the GAC 2025 Honorary Award

We are proud to share that Miquel Alzueta, founder of Alzueta Gallery, has been honored with the 2025 GAC Honorary Award, presented by the Gremi de Galeries d’Art de Catalunya. This prestigious recognition celebrates his long-standing career as a gallerist, editor, and collector, as well as his vital role in shaping contemporary art discourse in Catalonia and beyond.

Miquel Alzueta has been a decisive figure in bringing 20th-century design and contemporary art to new audiences, both locally and internationally. With a clear and singular vision, he has built a gallery project that now spans Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, and Casavells, fostering a unique dialogue between art, architecture, and place.

The award was officially presented during the Nit del Galerisme at MACBA (Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona) on May 27, 2025.
